Full Itinerary
Day 01: Xian Arrival (B)
Welcome to Xian. Upon arrival, you will be warmly greeted by your private tour guide and then transferred to the hotel for check-in and refreshing breakfast.
Day 02: Xian (B, L)
Wake up early in the morning and enjoy breakfast to get ready for a full day of exploration. Start with a visit to the Terracotta Army, which is no doubt a must-see for every visitor to Xi’an with a myriad of the incredible army. After that, head to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall.
In the lunchtime, you will be served special Chinese cuisines and then you have leisure time to relax.
Day 03: Xian – Urumqi (B, D)
In the morning, after having breakfast, we transfer to the airport for a flight to Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Upon arrival, your private tour guide will greet you and then transfer to the hotel for check-in and refresh.

Day 04: Urumqi (B, L)
Today, we have a full day to discover Urumqi. A must thing to do is an excursion to Heavenly Lake and a day in this fairly land promises memorable moments. Be ready to enjoy breathtaking views around the lake and uncover geological relics.
Afterward, you will enjoy delicious lunch before driving back to Urumqi. Continue to pay a visit Regional Museum and excursion to Erdaoqiao International Grand Bazaar that certainly make your day more meaningful in Urumqi.
Day 05: Urumqi – Turpan (B, L)
Say goodbye to Urumqi and drive to Turpan, which is a significant point on the Silk Road. You will have a great chance to experience a wide range of historical relics as well as a marvelous landscape. After having lunch, take a private coach to visit the Oasis town of Turpan, reputable for its melons and vineyards.
As the sun begins to set, we transfer to the hotel for dinner and take a rest here.
Day 06: Turpan – Dunhuang (B, L)
Enjoy breakfast and start a day with a visit to the ruined city of Gaochang– the best-preserved ruins of the ancient cities in China. What’s more, the underground tombs of Astana, the legendary Flaming Mountains, and Bezeklik Caves are also highlight destinations today.
After lunch, continue to reach the Emin Minaret, the largest ancient towers in Xinjiang and it is known as a novel and stylish modeling Islam pagoda on the Silk Road.
We complete an amazing day by taking aboard the overnight train to Dunhuang. Interestingly, you will have a unique experience as overnight on the train.
Day 07: Dunhuang (B, L)
A warmly welcome is waiting for you in Dunhuang by your tour guide. Upon arrival, you enjoy a special breakfast and have a short break in the hotel.
Afterward, explore a magnificent place – Dunhuang with dwarfing sand dunes and desert-scapes. The rest of the day, we have leisure time to discover Misha Hill and Crescent Moon Lake.

Day 8: Dunhuang – Xian (B, D)
Get up early and enjoy breakfast before visiting reputable Mogao Caves, which is a shrine of Buddhist art treasures and it is one of the most significant collections of Buddhist art in the world, popularly known as “Thousand Buddha Caves”.
In the lunchtime, enjoy local cuisines in Dunhuang before transferring to the airport and fly back to Xian. Upon arrival, your guide will meet and transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy a good rest tonight in Xian.
Day 9: Xian (B)
After having breakfast, you will be free until the driver arrives to take you to the airport for your flight to the next destination. China tour ends with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
