Full Itinerary
Upon arrival in Chengdu, you will be warmly greeted and escorted to the hotel for check-in and refresh yourself. The rest of the day will be yours to freely discover Chengdu.
Stay overnight in Chengdu.
Get up early in the morning before taking a 3-hour drive from Chengdu to Wolong. We start with a stop at the 2008 Earthquake Memorial Site for a short break. This destination is the ruin of Xuankou Middle School. Afterward, we continue to explore Gengda Town in Wolong.
In the lunchtime, we enjoy the local cuisine of China before getting ready for the fascinating hike to Dengsheng Gorge, which is called the "home of the giant panda". Free discovery paradise of animals and plants to get a closer insight into an authentic natural habitat of wild giant pandas.
When it gets dark, your room will be arranged just inside the Panda center for a Panda visit tonight. Therefore, you can pay a night with adorable panda without noises and tourists. It is a great chance to know what do pandas do at night.
Wake up early in the morning and then we transfer to the Wolong Panda Research Center. Interestingly, Panda Keeper Day will begin. It is a great opportunity for you to get a closer insight into Panda and take care of these cute Pandas under the guidance of professional staff. You will take part in washing enclosure, weighing and washing bamboo, making delicious panda cakes and feeding our adorable pandas. At the end of the journey, you will have an amazing opportunity to receive a Panda keeper certificate.
After that, you have delicious lunch at the center canteen and leisure time to explore by your own pace.
As the sun begins to set, we drive back to Chengdu and reach the hotel for dinner and overnight accommodation.
It’s time to say goodbye China and the cute and adorable pandas. Enjoy breakfast and morning at leisure until your driver escorts you to the airport for a flight coming home. The trip ends. We hope you had a memorable trip with the exciting and unforgettable moment you have ever had in life.
