Day 1: Beijing Arrival (B)
Welcome to Beijing! Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed warmly at Beijing Capital International Airport. After that, transfer to the hotel for breakfast and relaxing from the jet lag.
Day 2: Beijing Exploration (B, L, D)
After having breakfast, we travel to the most significant of Beijing’s imperial temples – Temple of Heaven. You can join and learn Tai Chi exercises with locals. After that, take a short drive to Tiananmen Square, where you can explore Forbidden City – the world’s largest palace complex. In the lunchtime, you will be served a delicious lunch and take a rest in the hotel.
When it gets dark, you have a great chance to immerse yourself in the Legend of Kung Fu show, which is a perfect choice for an evening activity in Beijing. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel in Beijing.
Day 3: Great Wall at Mutianyu, Beijing (B, L, D)
Start a new day with a special breakfast and then head to Mutianyu, which is one of the famous and best-preserved section of the magnificent Great Wall. Take a cable car to have a great view of appealing landscape surrounds the wall. Moreover, you can see watchtowers and fortresses densely spaced along its length with a unique design.
Afterward, enjoy lunch before descending the wall, you can walk along the Sacred Road to experience a royal path with vivid stone statues. At the end of the day, we transfer you back to the hotel for dinner and sound sleep.
Day 4: Giant Pandas at Beijing Zoo – Xi’an( B, L)
Get up early and enjoy breakfast before visiting the exquisite Summer Palace, which has long been recognized as ‘The Museum of Royal Gardens’.
Afterward, take a short visit to Beijing Zoo to get a closer insight into rare Pandas at the Panda House. It definitely will leave amazing experiences.
In the lunchtime, enjoy lunch and have leisure time to relax until your driver picks you up to the airport for your onward flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your private guide and driver will meet and escort you to the hotel for check-in and refresh.
Day 5: Terracotta Warriors in Xi’an (B, L)
This morning, after having breakfast, we head to Terracotta Warriors to see over 8,000 painted warriors and horses in battle-ranked formations. Interestingly, you have a chance to try your hand at the Terracotta Warrior making at Xi’an Art Ceramics Factory.
Afterward, we have lunch before discovering the Ancient City Wall. Later, join and enjoy a fantastic musical fountain performance at the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 6: Local Family Home Visiting – Guilin (B, L)
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast to start a visit to Muslim Street to get an authentic life of Xian people and enjoy home-made dishes with a welcoming local family. After having lunch, take a short visit to Gaojia Dayuan to experience traditional puppet shows and shadow plays.
We complete an amazing day with a private airport transfer for your flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, your guide will meet and transfer you to the hotel. Stay overnight in Guilin.
Day 7: Li River Cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo (B, D)
Start a new day with a Li River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. This journey is a highlight of your China river trip with a great introduction to the beautiful river and the spectacular karst mountain landscape. River cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo would be your only option to enjoy the Li river scenery on the river. As the boat sails downstream, you certainly will be amazed by stunning views with karst hills, bamboo groves, and water buffaloes.
Afterward, you can take a chance to experience the tranquil atmosphere in the countryside in Guilin by bike or car. It is truly interesting. As the sun begins to set, we transfer you to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: Learning Chinese Painting – fly to Shanghai (B, L)
Today will be amazing because you have a great chance to participate in a Chinese painting class in Yangshuo. The lesson takes you about one hour to get a deeper understanding of the way to draw birds, flowers or bamboos with the traditional Chinese painting skills.
After having lunch, we drive back to Guilin and explore Reed Flute Cave. Strolling around the cave, you will feast your eyes on spectacular stalactites, stone pillars, and rock formations.
After Guilin exploration, we fly to Shanghai, which is the most cosmopolitan city in China. Upon arrival, your tour guide will escort you to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.
Day 9: Shanghai Discovery (B, D)
Today, the first visit is the Shanghai Natural History Museum to see the exhibitions of specimens. Continue to wander through the beautiful Chinese garden – Yu Garden and bustling Yuyuan Market with special local street food. Afterward, take a short visit to the Jiangnan Silk Workshop to learn how silk is made. Interestingly, you also have a great chance to leisurely walk around the Bund.
At the end of the day, enjoy dinner before seeing an amazing acrobatic show, which certainly leaves you an unforgettable night in Shanghai.
Day 10: Ancient Zhujiajiao & Modern Shanghai (B, D)
After having breakfast, we take a short drive about 50 minutes from Shanghai to the historic Zhujiajiao Water Town. Highlight destinations for you are the Fangsheng Bridge, the Beida Street, and the Kezhi Garden. Discover little by little to feel as if you have stepped back in time immersing in ancient China.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at the hotel in Shanghai.
Day 11: Shanghai Departure (B)
Last morning in China tour will be free for making your own Shanghai discovery until your driver arrives to transfer to the airport for your departure flight. Tour ends. We hope your family will have unforgettable moments together in China vacation.
