Full Itinerary
Day 01: Beijing Arrival (B)
Welcome to Beijing, the sprawling capital of China. Warmly greet you in the arrival hall of Beijing Capital International Airport by our tour guide, and then transfer to the hotel and serve you a refreshing breakfast. After check-in, you have leisure time to chill out and unwind from jet-lag and prepare for your amazing China tour.
Day 02: Beijing Exploration (B, L, D)
Wake up early in the morning and meet our guide at the hotel lobby to start a journey. The first destination is the Temple of Heaven Park – a brilliant World Heritage Site. You can see a lot of local Chinese people doing morning exercises and even joining with them. Peking opera singing, folk dancing and traditional Chinese martial art like Tai Chi are some suggestions for you. Afterward, you have a great chance to stroll around the Temple of Heaven to witness outstanding masterpieces of classic imperial buildings throughout Chinese history.
Finish a tour at the Temple of Heaven, we will take you to the National Museum of China. You have ample chance to get a deeper understanding of arts, culture, history of China and see a wide range of exhibitions, research, archeology, collections and much more.
In the lunchtime, we will serve you a special lunch with Chinese food before walking along the largest public square in the world – Tian’anmen Square. The next destination is the Forbidden City, which is reputable because of its unique architectural design.
Next, you have a short visit to Jingshan Park – a beautiful royal landscape garden to climb up the hill to have a paranomic view of the royal palace.
At the end of the day, we transfer students back to the hotel to relax and enjoy dinner.
Day 03: Beijing (B, L)
Start a new day with breakfast and a warm tea to ready take a private tour to the Great Wall, which is a symbol and proud of China. There is a wide range of sections of Great Wall around Beijing city and Badaling Great Wall is a must-see destination for you. Upon arrival, you can either take cable car uphill or hike along the stairs on the wall.
After that, you have leisure time to unwind and enjoy lunch and socialize with local people.
Day 04: Beijing – Xian by overnight soft-sleeper train (B)
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day to discover Beijing city on your own.
As the sun begins to set, our tour guide will pick up and transfer you to the railway station and board the soft-sleeper train to Xian. It is a fantastic way for you to experience not only natural views from the North to the middle part of China but also spectacular ancient cities with precious and brilliant cultural along the way.
Day 05: Xian (B, D)
Say hello to Xian! Meet your guide and driver at the railway station and transfer to the hotel for breakfast and a short break. After refresh, we head to Lintong to explore the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor and The Terracotta Army, which are impressive stops for you to see a massive host of terra-cotta warriors charged with guarding the emperor’s tomb.
After that, take the express bus back to the railway station and private transfer back to your hotel for a rest and dinner.
Day 06: Xian – Shanghai (B)
The second day in Xian, we continue our journey with a visit to Xiamaling Street to see the Tomb of Dongzhongshu. The next stop for you is Wolong Temple, where experience a rich history around 1,800 years.
After having lunch, we reach the Forest Stone Tablet Museum and continue walking along the ancient City Wall. By the way, you also have a short visit cross Sanxue Street. Join Shuyuanmen Culture Street to immerse in the vibrant atmosphere of the street with a wide range of shops sell paints, souvenirs, and calligraphy.
Next, we pay a visit to the South Gate of the ancient City Wall to take a bike and ride along the wall. Drum Tower Square is the next destination for you that offers you a perfect combination of the architectural style of the Qing Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty.
At the end of the day, we transfer you back to the hotel, serve you dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 07: Shanghai (B)
Upon arrival in Shanghai, our tour guide will welcome warmly you at the railway station and transfer to the hotel for a scrumptious breakfast and a short break. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Shanghai on your own.
Day 08: Shanghai Departure (B)
We complete a trip to China with a special breakfast before transferring to the airport and take your departure flight. China classic tour ends.
